June 2024 Functional Mushroom Extraction Course (FULL PAYMENT)

The Functional Mushroom Extraction Course will be conducted at a collaborative laboratory facility in Denver, Colorado, equipped with bench-top to medium-scale extraction equipment. This comprehensive two-day program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental medicinal constituents present in commercially significant mushroom varieties such as Reishi, Cordycep, Lions Mane, Turkey Tail, and Oyster.

Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to design extraction experiments, proficiently execute diverse extraction methodologies, and critically assess the resultant product quality. Following completion of this course, students will possess the requisite expertise to embark on the production and application of mushroom extracts across a broad spectrum of contexts, ranging from personal utilization to industrial-scale manufacturing.

This course is an introduction to extraction theory specific to functional/medicinal mushrooms, extraction methods commonly used for target compounds found in mushroom fungal-mass, and application/formulation of extracts with consumer products.
